Most people call me Nikki. I am the proud owner and Lead Cosmetologist of Salon 8 Sixty here in the lovely Charlotte, NC!

Hair is a detailed craft that has held my interest over my lifetime. Growing up in Connecticut with family members that were gifted in many forms of art, it was the trendy, detailed designs and the transformation of a client’s self-confidence that I witnessed in one of my relative’s salon chair that peaked my interest. However, I knew as a young person that servicing my community with beautiful hair was not enough. It was my intention to give women more than just a “nice style”… I wanted to empower them with a “new mindset”. Though I began to practice as an amateur, I followed other career paths until I set new goals in 2016. That year, I was on a mission to show my children and my community how the business of beauty could fulfill your purpose and make a profit.

I pivoted into the beauty industry to marry my passions of education, art, socio-emotional support and entrepreneurship, by mastering studies at the Empire Beauty School of Concord and several other continuous training classes in order to serve others with excellence. My clients now enjoy the simplistic beauty of design, healthy hair, education and resurfaced confidence as we finish every appointment!
